Terms & Conditions

Draft for legal review. The text below covers the points required by Czech law (Act 89/2012 Sb., 634/1992 Sb., GDPR) and by payment gateway operators. Please have it reviewed by counsel before go-live.
These terms govern purchase contracts concluded between the operator of this online store (the Seller) and the customer (the Buyer) through the web interface of this store, in accordance with Act 89/2012 Sb. (Civil Code) and Act 634/1992 Sb. (Consumer Protection Act).
Contracting parties
Seller: the operator identified in the footer (legal name, registered address and company ID shown there). Buyer: a consumer or business customer who places an order through this online store.
Placing an order and contract conclusion
The product detail and cart pages list the name, description and total price including VAT and any delivery fees. An order is placed by selecting items, completing the checkout and confirming the order. The purchase contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by e-mail.
Price and payment
All prices are shown in the local currency including VAT. We accept payment via the methods listed on the Delivery & payment page (in particular online card payments through Comgate Payments, a.s., the payment gateway operator). The price becomes due upon order confirmation.
Delivery and pickup
The delivery date and pickup window are shown at checkout and confirmed in the order confirmation. Risk of damage passes to the Buyer upon takeover of the goods. Because our products are freshly baked, the delivery schedule reflects our production capacity.
Withdrawal from the contract
In accordance with § 1837 of the Czech Civil Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods (freshly baked products) or to goods produced to the consumer's individual order. For non-perishable items, you may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason - notify us by e-mail and return the goods at your cost.
Defects and complaints
The procedure for asserting rights from defective performance is described on the Complaints & returns page.
Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumers may submit a proposal for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz), or use the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Final provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. By placing an order the Buyer confirms having read and accepted these terms. The Seller may amend these terms; the version in force at the time the order is placed applies to that contract.
